Bromeliads

Probably the most versatile family in the whole plant kingdom, surviving on nourishment from rain and decayed plant and animal remains. In nature they support many different kinds of flora and fauna within the reservoirs formed by the leaves. Many bromeliads have strange exotic looking flowers with beautiful colouration. Our collection includes many epyphitic and terrestrial specimens.

Aechmea fasciata     Aechmea distichantha      Ananas bracteatus     Guzmania lingulata
