We are an old established, traditional family business totally committed to your satisfaction and we have skilled growers available to answer your queries.
Our company is Tate Bros Limited (our company number is 515014 and our registered office is Tates Administration Offices, Avis Road, Newhaven, East Sussex. BN9 0DH).
Paradise Park & Gardens consists of our garden centre, an Earth Science Exhibition, Heritage Trail and delightful gardens open to the public.
Our other garden centre is located at South Downs Nurseries, where we also grow many of our plants available for sale.

Credit Card Security.
All credit card numbers are encrypted in the software as it travels over the internet using sophisticated 128 bit encryption. They are only decrypted after they reach our computer. They are not held in clear text on any web site. If, however you would prefer to pass your credit card details through our mail order department rather than sending over the internet, please complete your details in the "checkout" and in the "Payment Method" choose the "Credit Card Details Sent Separately" option. Orders over £75 are generally delivered free. However, on rare occasions, some heavyweight or awkward deliveries may have a surcharge from our carrier. Where possible, we will indicate this on our webshop. Otherwise we will contact you upon reciept of your order to obtain your prior agreement to proceed with your order.

Making A Purchase.
Making a purchase could not be easier. Just browse our shop, and click on any goods that you wish to buy to put them into the shopping cart. After you have finished your selection, click on "checkout" and you will be asked for a few details that we need to be able to satisfy the order.
We accept credit and debit card payment.
We accept Visa, Mastercard and Switch. You may send your credit card information via phone, fax, post or over the internet. You may also make a payment by cheque. Please make cheques payable to "Paradise Park" and post with your order details to Internet Sales Manager, Paradise Park, Avis Road, Newhaven, East Sussex, BN9 0DH. Remember to include a daytime contact telephone number in case of any query.
If it is not possible to obtain full payment for the goods from your account prior to despatch of the goods to you, we can cancel the contract or suspend any further deliveries to you. This does not affect any of your other rights. Delivery costs are calculated for delivery to most parts of the United Kingdom mainland. If you are outside our normal delivery area, we will contact you with a revised delivery cost when we have received your order. You will have the option of proceeding with your order or cancelling at this time.

Delivery Schedule.
We aim to offer an efficient and hassle-free service.
We will normally deliver the goods ordered by you to the address that you specify on your order. It is important that this address is accurate and complete. In order to protect you from credit card fraud, we normally only supply goods over £250 to the registered address of the card holder.
Our charges for transport, packaging and insurance are detailed on the order page and will be included in the total price for the goods. Parcels require a signature upon delivery unless specifically waived, whereupon the parcels will no longer be covered by our insurance and the the risk of damage or loss passes to you after despatch.
You must inform us if you are going to be away at any time when delivery is expected.
We will e mail you when the goods have been despatched.
If you believe the delivery is severely overdue, e mail us at promotions@paradisepark.co.uk and we will take appropriate action.
Goods will normally be delivered by our own transport or by using a carrier.
We aim to despatch goods as soon as possible after your order is received. If the lead time is likely to be greater than 30 days we will advise you accordingly. In spite of all our efforts, there can sometimes be unforeseen delays. We cannot therefore guarantee delivery times or accept liability for late deliveries.
If despatch is delayed for any reason, the delivery time will be extended and we will contact you. If you wish to cancel at this time you will, of course, be able to do so.
You will only own the goods once they have been successfully delivered and when we have received cleared payment in full. Goods supplied are not for resale.
We accept no liability if a delivery is delayed because you did not give us the correct payment details.

Chippings and Paving Home Delivery.
Please allow up to 7 working days for delivery. Our carrier will contact you prior to delivery to agree suitable delivery arrangements. It will be necessary for someone to be available on site to receive the goods. In placing your order you are accepting all aspects of material quality, and no further claim can be made once the material has been discharged. No liability can be accepted for any subsequent loss or damage. Standard delivery will be made on an 18 ton rigid vehicle with a tail lift and a pump truck (this is not a crane off load). Delivery will be made to the nearest suitable spot on site. This may be the nearest spot on the pavement if an unsuitable surface (e.g. a gravel driveway) is present. It must be noted that it is not the drivers responsibility to move the goods whilst on site. All times quoted for delivery are approximate and whilst we make every effort to meet these targets, no liability will be accepted if we are unable to do so. Under no circumstances will we be liable for any consequential loss, damage or costs arising from late delivery. Our liability for any material that is defective, or not to the quality or specification is limited to the cost value of the purchased goods. No liability will be accepted arising from any errors or omissions relating to this document.

Garden Buildings and Playframes

Tate Bros Ltd will use their best endevours to secure delivery of the goods on the estimated delivery date or dates from time to time furnished, but does not guarantee time of delivery, nor is liable for any damages claims of any kind in respect of delay in delivery, and this agreement shall be subject to any conditions which the manufacturer or supplier may from time to time attach to the supply of goods or re-sale of such goods by Tatel Bros Ltd (the seller).
If the goods are new and described in catalogue or list price of the manufacturer, the supplier of the seller, the seller undertakes to assist the purchaser in obtaining from such manufacturer or supplier the benefit of any warranty or guarantee given by them to the seller in respect of the goods. The purchaser shall notify in writing of any alleged defect within 10 days (time being of the essence) of such defect becoming apparent. If the purchaser shall fail to take and pay for the goods within 7 days of notification as aforesaid, the seller shall be at liberty to treat the contract as repudiated by the purchaser, and thereupon the deposit shall be forfeited without prejudice to the seller's right to recover from the purchaser by way of damagesany loss or expense which the seller may suffer or incur by reason of the purchaser's default.
If afte rthe date of the orderthe manufacturer's or the seller's supplier's price for any of the goods shall be altered at any time or times before the delivery to the purchaser, the seller may give notice of such alteration or alterations from time to time of the pruchaser, and in the event of the price being increased the purchaser agrees to pay the seller the amount of the addition or additions to such price, unless within 7 days after reciept of such notice, they give notice to the seller that they decline to do so, in which case the seller shall have the option, by notice in writing to the purchaser, to cancel this contract and the deposit shall be returned to the purchaser.
In the event of the manufacturer of the goods described ceasing to make goods of that type (whether the estimated delivery date has arrived or not) the seller shall be at liberty to return the depsoit to the purchaser and declare their contract to be at an end without any further liability on their part.
Greenhouses, by the very nature of their construction, may not be water tight in all weather conditions.
The seller makes no warranty of any kind as to the suitability or fitness of any particular products supplied unless they have first undertaken a survey of the purchaser's premises and confimed in writing that the particular goods are suitable.
Certain buildings may need flashing to weatherproof the seal against an existing building or wall the cost of which is the purchaser's reponsibility, if required.
The design of the goods is that they may not withstand abnormal weather conditions. The purchaser is advised to take out insurance cover in respect of storm or flood.Glazing is not guaranteed against minor imperfections and the seller will not be held responsible for such imperfections. It is the purchaser's responsibility to obtain any consents that may be necessary in respect of planning permission or building regulation approval form the local authority.
The seller accepts no responsibility for any loss or damage to goods stored in buildings.
Any discrepancies in the delivered kits should by reprted to the seller in writing within 7 days.

Guarantee.
We guarantee that goods will meet their specification and will be free from defects in materials and workmanship at the time of delivery.
If you do not wish to receive a substitute you must advise by email us at the time of order.
Should you feel dissatisfied in any way, please inform us as soon as possible and we will do all we can to put things right.
We cannot be held responsible for losses caused by severe weather, frost, drought, flood, other climatic factors.
We guarantee that goods will meet their specification and will be free from defects in materials and workmanship at the time of delivery. In the unlikely case of a defective product, please contact us at promotions@paradisepark.co.uk. We can then advise you whether to return the goods to us or whether we will replace the defective part. We reserve the right to replace the defective part or the goods. As an alternative we reserve the right to refund your purchase price. If we ask you to return the goods please provide a full description of the fault and return the defective item in it's original packaging, with all warranty cards, licences, manuals and accessories. Then send the package to the address below for the attention of the Internet Sales Manager, Paradise Park, Avis Road, Newhaven, East Sussex, BN9 0DH.
For your protection we recommend that you use a recorded delivery service. If you are returning an item because of an error on our part or it is defective, we will normally refund your costs in returning it to us provided that you receive prior agreement with us in respect of the cost, prior to despatch.
This returns policy does not affect your statutory rights.

Improvement Policy.
We operate a policy of continuous improvement, so changes to the goods may be made at any time. We will use reasonable commercial endeavours to keep the web site up to date but the information and specifications given are for your information only and are subject to change without notice. Pictures on the web site are generally accurate but variations in colour, shape and size must be expected.

Price Of Goods.
For orders made from the UK, 17.5% VAT is included in the price shown. If the price of the goods or delivery increases between the date we accept your order and the delivery date, we will inform you and ask you to confirm by e mail that the new price is acceptable. If it is not acceptable then you will of course have the option of cancelling the order. The prices shown are web prices only and may differ from prices in store.

Availability Guide.
Occasionally, high demand may alter availability of goods. If this occurs, we will substitute our nearest equivalent product at no additional cost to you. If you do not wish to receive a substitute, you must advise us at the time of order. All estimated delivery times are given in good faith but may subsequently vary and no liability is accepted for late delivery.

Cancellation.
If you change your mind about anything you order, you can cancel the order up to 7 working days after the goods are delivered, providing the goods are returned in their original condition. To cancel an order, e mail us at promotions@paradisepark.co.uk., including details of the order you are cancelling.
Goods can be returned by enclosing a note giving the reason for the return, wrapping the package securely and sending to: Paradise Park, Avis Road, Newhaven, East Sussex, BN9 0DH marked for the attention of the Internet Sales Manager.
For your protection, you should use a recorded delivery service.
Please note: You will be responsible for the costs of returning goods to us unless we delivered the item to you in error or the item is faulty. If we do not receive the item back from you with the delivery slip, we reserve the right to arrange for collection of the item from your residence at your cost. You should be aware that once we begin the delivery process, you will not be able to cancel any contract you have with us for services carried out by us ( for example, postage and packing, etc). We will refund the relevant part of the purchase price paid by you for the goods as soon as we can, which is normally no later than 30 days after the goods are returned.
